Anne Gracie Books in Order: The Regency Series

Gracie writes in connected series, each following a group of sisters or a found family through their romances. Within a series the characters recur and the emotional threads build, so reading in order is genuinely rewarding. Across series, though, each set stands on its own — you can start with whichever premise appeals and never feel you have missed anything. Here are her four main Regency series.

The Merridew Sisters series in order

Gracie also wrote several early standalone Regencies for Harlequin, including Gallant Waif, Tallie's Knight and An Honorable Thief. They are harder to find now but delightful if you come across them; we have focused above on her main connected series so every listing stays verified and in order.

For most readers, the best entry point is The Perfect Rake, the first Merridew Sisters book — funny, tender, and a perfect showcase of Gracie's voice. If you would rather start something a little newer, The Autumn Bride opens the Chance Sisters series and is a beloved found-family favourite. Marriage-of-convenience fans can dive straight into Marry in Haste. Whichever you pick, you will get a complete story — then, most likely, immediately want the next three.
